HTC, known for mobile innovation and design, has announced that its all-metal HTC One (M8) flagship model is now available in Amber Gold in Singapore. HTC may hope to build on Asia’s love affair with gold phones as seen through the surprise demand for the gold edition of Apple’s iPhone 5S.
With the trend of HTC releasing mini variants of higher-end flagship smartphones devices such as the HTC One Mini, it probably should not come as a surprise that the company would eventually release a HTC One Mini 2. This rumoured product is reportedly an improved version of the One M8.
HTC just launched the 2014 model of their flagship phone, dubbed as the HTC One M8. This new model has the same design as HTC One that was released in 2013, and features mainly internal upgrades and a larger display.
It’s less than a week to Valentine’s Day and there’s already a piece of good news in the mobile industry. Earlier on, Nokia and HTC have signed a patent and technology collaboration agreement that will bring all patent litigation to an end. On top of that, both companies will work together to capitalize on HTC current LTE patent portfolio and will be on the lookout for any future collaboration opportunities.
