Rumours of Samsung releasing their Galaxy S5 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2014 is spreading like wildfire, according to various reports. In addition, an alleged photo of its packaging box is adding to the excitement of Samsung fans out there.

SamsungGalaxyS5.nl reported that an anonymous tipster had the snapshot of the back of the box the flagship product will come in. Samsung has the practice of listing the specifications of their products at the back and this led us to know more of the S5 before it’s even released.

According to the image, the Samsung S5 will feature a chipset powered by a quad-core processor running at 2.5GHz and LTE Cat4 with 150Mbps downlink speed. An expected upgrade would be the 3GB RAM and Android 4.4 (KitKat) it will run on.

The display is listed to be a 5.25” QHD Super AMOLED with pixels rumoured to be pushed to 560ppi, a noticeable difference from the 440ppi that the S4 currently offers.

Photography enthusiasts can rejoice too as the camera module has been upgraded to a 20MP. Recently, a leaked 16MP photo on a Flipboard test account @123fliptest has shown a 16:9 photo purportedly taken on a Galaxy S5 according to EXIF data (it will be full 20MP when taken with 4:3 dimension). Videography wise, it will continue to record Full HD 1080p videos.

An interesting point of note is that no information on the box mentioned if it will feature any curved display like the Galaxy Round and the material of the body it will be encased with. Speculations have always been going around, thereby making this new info leak no longer surprising. Do remember to always take such news with a pinch of salt as nothing is confirmed till the actual event is held in Barcelona.
