As a gadget lover, I have tried the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 2 before and upon returning back to my iPhone 4, I seriously feel that the screen is too small to do much work. We have all been hoping for Apple to release larger screens iPhone for a long time. The good news is the wait might be over as soon as this year.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple might be releasing two new iPhones that feature larger displays this year. The first new iPhone is said to have a display size larger than 4.5-inch measured diagonally and the second iPhone to be over 5-inch. As of now, the latest offering by Apple, the iPhone 5S is only 4-inch wide.

On the other hand, the new iPhone smartphones are not expected to feature any curved display, found currently on rivals Samsung Galaxy Round and LG G Flex. Both new models expected to be unveiled this year will still feature the same metal casing as the iPhone 5S. With the launch of these two iPhones, the plastic iPhone 5C is also rumoured to be dropped from the pipeline.

This move should come with no surprise as the iPhone 5S has been outselling the 5C so far. As an Apple fan, I am really very enthusiast about this and am crossing my fingers on it. Honestly, I’m holding on to my iPhone 4 now till Apple releases a larger iPhone. If the new iPhones really make it through, I will definitely upgrade to it.
